Reduce impact noise through floors with this ery efficient recycled acoustic underlay for carpets!

A10 is a 10mm thick acoustic underlay that is more efficient at absorbing impact noise through floors than normal carpet underlays.  This recycled acoustic underlay is a sound aborbing product designed specifically for the home and flats and is ideal for domestic use.  A10 is a very effective sound proofing material that will significantly reduce impact noise such as footfalls and furniture movement from disturbing neighbours beneath.

Produced from recycled rubber and high grade felt, A10 Acoustic Underlay is designed for installation beneath carpets to give a superior reduction in impact noise through the floors below. It is suitable for all types of floor surfaces including wood, concrete, asphalt and is particularly recommended on uneven floors.

A10 soundproofing underlay is not designed to reduce airborne noise nuisance.  To insulate against airborne noise, see our information sheet for Quiet-Floor.   However, on concrete floors, provided they have the required amount of mass (350kg/m2) the new Approved Document E regulations for both airborne and impact noise penetration through the floor will be met if A10 is glued to the floor surface.
